Cubano Bungalow Birdhouse

The Cubano Bungalow is a repurposed cigar box designed to house many species of wren, finch, or warbler. I simply added a handy front entrance way and a hanging wire loop to an already clever box. The weight of the entry block is enough to keep the door closed but the Bungalow can easily be refreshed for a new tenant by opening the sliding door and dumping into any convenient receptacle.

The cigar box has been sanded and finished with a polyurathane stain that should repel most of nature’s assaults, however the Bungalow should be strategically located to provide a safe environment for your tenants.
